Kunal (class VII) U-14 got 2nd position and Om Kanwar (class VII) got 3rd position in Rhythmic Yoga. A state level Yoga Tournament organized by School Game Federation of India was held at Sarvhitkari Sen. Sec. School, Barnala on Oct 25, 2017 and Oct 26, 2017. Young BVMites participated enthusiastically in it and brought laurels to the school.
A District level Yoga Tournament was held at BVM (KN) on Oct 11, 2017 and Oct 12, 2017 in which U-14 and U-17 boys team bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The school Management and the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the winners and acknowledged the stern efforts of the participants as well as Physical Education Department. She also motivated all the students to participate in such competitions and make yoga an integral part of their routine as it will boost their performance in every sphere of life.
